Hello First-Generation and/or Limited Income Students of the Class of 2028!
Welcome to your third day of First-Generation and/or Limited Income Student Orientation! Below you'll find more information about today's events. Events bolded and marked [MANDATORY] are events that you must attend.
Today's weather will be warm, with a high of 74 degrees. Make sure to stay hydrated by stopping by at our Hospitality Booths for some cold drinks!
If you have any questions or would like to know more information about any of the New Student Orientation (NSO) programs, look for our well-trained volunteers, the Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS), all around campus in light blue and navy blue t-shirts.

[MANDATORY] Navigating the First-Generation and/ or Limited-Income Experience at Penn
Irvine Auditorium | 10am-12pm
One of the best parts of Penn is the amazingly supportive faculty and staff who help you succeed on your journey! Join them for this interactive session on making the most of your college experience.
Philly Fun Tours
Meet at Shleifer Family Penn First Plus Center | 2pm-4pm
Join the PHINS to learn more about fun, no-to- low-cost places to visit for fun in Philly. SEPTA (bus, subway passes) will be provided. Visit places like Magic Gardens, Old City, Bartram’s Garden, Chinatown, and more!

You will not be required to complete a quiz during this phase of TAP. However, this content contains essential information regarding mandatory NSO programming where attendance will be taken. Failure to attend mandatory NSO events could result in a registration hold on your student record.

Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed on Penn Dining website. The options for today are listed below.
Hill, 1920 Commons Dining Cafés
Breakfast (Students Only): 7:30am-10:00am
Lunch and Dinner: 11:00am-8:00pm
Kings Court English House, Lauder Dining Cafés
Lunch and Dinner: 11:00am-8:00pm
Falk Hillel Dining Café
Lunch: 11:00am-2:00pm
Dinner: 4:00pm-7:00pm
Halal is offered at Kings Court English House, and Kosher dining is available at Falk Hillel
