Kaikohe Township Plan

First of all we would like to thank you for attending the first workshop for the Kaikohe township plan. A lot of great ideas and a very informative session for our project team.
The township plan is now underway and is one of eight being prepared by the NZ Transport Agency as part of the Twin Coast Discovery Highway business case.
We want to make sure your community continues to be actively involved in the process of refining the plan to build on the key connections, places and experiences identified in the first workshop held in May 2019.
We would like to invite you to participate in our second community design workshop:
When: Thursday 27 June 2019
Location: Akau Studios, 8 Dickeson Street, Kaikohe
Time: 9:00am to 1:30pm
The morning session will focus on further development of the township plan with the community working group, followed by an afternoon session from 3.30pm – 7.30pm open to the wider community.
If you are unable to attend the morning session we welcome you along to the evening session to allow for you to give your input.
Please note: The current phase includes the development of the township plan and is dependent on further funding for implementation.
