As Smartpay transitions to Shift4, we are expanding the deployment of PAX Smart Android POS solutions across ANZ, enabling broader and more advanced payment use cases in retail, hospitality, and large-scale venues.

PAX Receives GIE-CB Approval for FRv6.3.1 in France
We are delighted to announce that PAX has received approval from the Groupement des GIE Cartes Bancaires (GIE-CB) of its PAX standalone payment application based on the FRv6.3.1 (CB2A v1.6.3) standard provided by FrenchSys for PAX Android devices.
This milestone brings:

PAX Partners with Utimaco on PCI-Compliant Key Injection in the U.S.
PAX has partnered with Utimaco to deliver a PCI PIN and P2PE-compliant key injection solution for enterprise payment environments.
By integrating Utimaco’s KeyBRIDGE POI with PAX’s encrypted key loading technology, the solution enables secure, end-to-end key transmission to PAX devices — enhancing security, scalability, and seamless integration with existing workflows.
