Click here Staff Update: Calvary Brighton Outbreak Declared OverDate: 13 May 2022 To: All Staff – Calvary Brighton From: Ryan Midgley, General Manager Aged Care I am pleased to inform you that the previous two (2) positive residents in Banksia Wing have now been medically cleared, and SA Health has declared the outbreak at Calvary Brighton Over. All negative and medically cleared residents in the home can now be de-isolated and are able to move freely around the facility. However, one (1) additional resident has tested positive to COVID-19 at Calvary Brighton since our last communication to you. The positive resident is in isolation and receiving care in their room, and we have notified their family. Because of this, some visitation restrictions will remain in place for the next seven (7) days to help keep our residents, their visitors and our staff as safe as possible. Please see below: Information for visitors
Our testing regime will continue every 48 hours until we reach day 14 from the initial case. Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Your hard work is appreciated. We all look forward to receiving more visitors back into the home.
