Temporary public access to Ahaura River
Access to Ahaura River from the end of Camp Street is temporarily closed to the public until mid-2021, due to the area being an active work site.
The public and boaties are encouraged to use the alternative access route through private property at the north end of Napoleon Street, via the level crossing.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you are using the Napoleon Street access route, be on the lookout for trains, follow the signs, keep to the road at all times and please remember to shut the gate behind you.
