365 Days of Prayer for Pastor Shane Anderson Pastor Shane begins his journey as lead pastor at Pioneer with his first sermon on Sabbath, July 1. We’d like to surround Pastor Shane and his family with intentional, focused prayer for his first 365 days. You and your family have the opportunity to sign up for one day—to pray for Pastor Shane, his wife Darlene, and their college-aged daughters Sierra and Ellie.
Pastor Shane's Installation Sabbath As we join with Pastor Shane and his family as they begin their ministry here at Pioneer we have several special things planned. There will be only one church service at 11:45 AM, during the service, Elder Jim Micheff, President of the Michigan Conference, will preside over a welcome and prayer for Pastor Shane. Following that Pastor Shane will preach his first sermon at Pioneer. At 9:00 AM we will have breakfast in church just like we did on May 20th for Pastor Dwight's farewell. Sabbath School will still meet at 10:30 AM.

Village Church Fellowship Hall We are thankful and grateful to welcome Dr. Rahel Wells to the monthly Adventist Seniors of Michiana (ASM) program on Sunday, July 9. In spite of her youthfulness, Rahel's incredible personal experience and scholarly research have led her to present the topic, "Holiness in Hard Times." If you read this information and are at least age 55+ and live an Adventist lifestyle in the Michiana area, we look forward to your presence. Bring some food and friends to our potluck as we fellowship with others and listen to her well-thought-out theme for each one of us.
—Cleon White, ASM President

Offering for July 1, 2023 Pioneer Operating Budget Happy Independence Day! If you live in Canada, Sabbath is the day. If you live in the United States, it comes this next week. For both countries, independence came from no longer being under the British crown. Some might compare this to a child
growing up and becoming independent of one’s parents—something pseudo or fabricated until there’s financial independence as well. Independence Day—for your nation or for kids who grow up and stand on their own—how does this compare to our relationship with God? Read More
