Dear Resident and Family Members,

COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families of Calvary St Francis 

I am pleased to inform residents and families that all tested Calvary St Francis residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to declare the outbreak over and lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary St Francis.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary St Francis will welcome more visitors back into the home from 04 May 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary St Francis is open to visitors from 04 May 2022.
  • There is now no limit to amount of visitors allowed per resident, per day.
  • We kindly ask that you book your visit with us for now. To make a booking, please contact 4942 7477 during business hours Monday to Friday (if you wish to visit during the weekend, please book during the week).
  • Visiting hours are from 11.00am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm with last entry to the home permitted at 4.00pm. This is allow adequate time for rapid antigen testing (RAT testing) prior to entry. Once in the home, visitors may stay longer than 4.00pm.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors may be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home. This takes time, and we ask for your patience as we manage this important screening process.
  • If you have any questions please speak with the home manager.

Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19.
