Intended programme for w/c 2 February 2020 (weather dependent, therefore subject to change)

SH2 & SH29A Truck and trailer movements through site access points to move construction plant and deliver materials. No traffic delays expected. From Monday to Friday. Days: 9am to 4pm.

SH2 eastbound between Bayfair and Te Maunga roundabout left lane closure for stone column night works, Sunday 19 January to Thursday 23 January. Nights: 8pm to 5am (finishing Friday morning).


Advanced notice of significant works

SH29A
between Te Maunga and Baypark roundabouts full road closure from 8pm Friday 31 January to 5am Monday 3 February.

SH2 eastbound between Bayfair and Te Maunga roundabout, left lane night closures from 8pm to 5am Monday 10 February to Thursday 13 February (finishing Friday morning).

Long-term traffic management
• SH2 between Te Maunga intersection and Concord Avenue - narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.

• SH2 Manganui Rd SB two lanes approaching the Bayfair roundabout have been split to create a work zone in the middle so motorists coming to Bayfair from the city need to use the left lane to access the Bayfair entries on SH2 Manganui Rd.

• Bayfair roundabout – a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.

• Matapihi Road adjacent to the golf driving range – narrowed lanes and a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.

• Girven Road near the Bayfair roundabout - narrowed lanes are in place for the duration of the project and the right turn from Bayfair car park onto Girven Road is permanently closed.

• SH29A near Baypark – narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.

• SH2 Papamoa-bound slip lane at Te Maunga intersection is permanently closed.

• SH2 northbound slip lane turning to SH29A from the roundabout is permanently closed.
