Do you want to become an effective advocate for the profession of pharmacy and learn more about the legislative process and advancing of pharmacy? Come to PPA's GRASP Night on Tuesday, November 1st from 6-8pm at LLC 103. GRASP (Government Relations Advocacy for Student Pharmacists) is intended for preparing student pharmacists to become better advocates, communicators and leaders in the profession of pharmacy. The program consists of 8 modules, regarding pharmacy legislation, with an exercise at the end of each module in order to ensure complete understanding of the materials presented. With the completion of the modules, students will receive a certificate of completion and a GRASP lapel pin. GRASP is free to all PPA members. All attendees must be registered PPA members!!! The Jefferson College of Pharmacy is offering a series of courses in population health. PCP students can take the courses and transfer in as professional electives. More information is HERE. As LGBTQ+ History Month comes to an end, let's take an opportunity to reflect on the contributions and achievements of the
LGBTQ+ community. This month is intended to affirm the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community to history while encouraging openness and honesty for those for whom it is safe to be visible and open about being LGBTQ+."Inclusion is how we unleash the power of diversity". The PCP Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce wants to include more of YOU in our diversity highlights. Got something to share? Are you planning to attend the ASHP Midyear Conference in December? Come to the faculty panel event and learn about how to best prepare for the largest pharmacy conference!
