We hope you have been enjoying International Student Orientation (ISO)! Below you'll find more information about today's events.
For today’s weather, we’re expecting a cloudy day with a high of 82 degrees. Make sure to stay hydrated by stopping by at our Hospitality Booths for some cold drinks!
If you have any questions or would like to know more information about any of the New Student Orientation (NSO) programs, look for our well-trained volunteers, the Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS), all around campus in light blue and dark blue t-shirts.

International Student Help Table
Houston Hall, Main Lobby | 9am-3pm
Have all your questions answered here where our PHINS will address any concerns regarding where to go, what to do, and NSO programming.
IKEA Shopping Trip
Bus Location: 37th St between Sansom & Chestnut | 9am-5pm
Take a bus to IKEA to buy necessities for your room and pick up some freebies! The buses will depart campus every hour beginning at 9:30am and ending at 3:30pm. The buses will leave IKEA every hour beginning at 11am and ending at 5pm.
Student Mentor Activities
College Green | 10am-12pm
Rain Location: Meyerson B1
Come meet some international PHINS and get introduced to your fellow international classmates through a series of icebreaker activities!
NSO Hospitality Booths
34th & Walnut, 37th & Locust, College Green | 10am-3pm

New Student Resources Fair & Campus Express Center

Come to your “one-stop shop” for essential resources and services for all Penn students.
Penn Parents & Families Info Station

Meet the Penn Parents Outreach & Development team and pickup Penn giveaways.
Life @ Penn & Chat with Current Students
Meyerson Hall B3 | 1pm-2:30pm
Hear international students talk about things they wish they knew before starting their first year at Penn and engage in an informal chat with student panelists! Afterwards, PHINS escort students to the bus pick-up location for the IKEA shopping trip.
Adapt to Penn Today (APT) Workshops
Perry World House | 1pm-4:30pm
These interactive workshops will provide you with helpful tips on how to thrive at Penn in areas such as academics, social and cultural integration, health and well-being, and more.
Game Night
Houston Hall | 8pm-11pm
A night of snacks and fun mocktails where students will be able to eat, drink, mingle, and play classic games in an exciting atmosphere.
PennTracks: Center City and
University City & West Philly Tours
PennTracks Tours are free guided tours led by our PHINS student leaders throughout the city of Philadelphia for our first-year students and second-year students. Preceptorials
Engage with Penn faculty, staff, and students in these one-time educational sessions. Preceptorials showcase the cultural, social, and academic richness of our shared community as well as highlight topics on civic engagement, wellness, and the arts in Philadelphia. TAP Phase Two is Live!
TAP Phase Two is officially live!
You will not be required to complete a quiz during this phase of TAP. However, this content must be reviewed prior to your mandatory in-person PHINS Orientation Group Meet-Ups and NSO programming where attendance will be taken. Failure to attend these small group activities could result in a registration hold being placed on your student record.
