Captain Blood landed on Bondi Beach at 3pm and was swarmed by crowds of children searching for the buried treasure that had been scattered along the beach. £100 worth of cinema certificates were hidden in treasure chests, and a motion picture taken of the excitement which was then shown at the Crystal Palace.
