Important Dates Monday, January 8, 2024: Winter term classes begin. Friday, January 12, 2024: Last day for registration and course changes (including auditing) in early winter courses. If you’re not sure about where your class is, how to navigate the tunnels or where to go for lunch, just Ask Me! ![]() Student Registration Assistance Team The Student Registration Assistance team is available to help with winter term registration until Friday, January 19, 2024 with in person, email and phone assistance. Check Out the Student Services Hub If you have questions but don’t know where to go, many of Carleton's support offices will be providing satellite services in one spot. Stop by the fourth floor Galleria in Nideyinàn from Monday, January 8 to Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily to get answers to your questions and provide advising and registration assistance in one spot! The Virtual Winter Career Fair Will Host 35+ Employers: Here's What You Need to Know You are invited to attend the Virtual Winter Career Fair on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.! The Carleton Bookstore is working in partnership with Haven to ensure educational materials will continue to be made available to students. Read the full post for more information about the Bookstore’s new price match policy, digital delivery fee adjustment and buy-back program. ![]() Winter 2024 Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate Registration Now Open The Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate registration is now open for winter 2024. Hosted by the Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement, this learning certificate discusses anti-Indigenous racism found in Canada and educational institutions, as well as student supports and how to practice allyship and rightful relations. The workshops consist of four three-hour sessions, hosted once per month. Call for Nominations: Student Governors The student governor applications to fill two vacant positions for the 2024-2025 board year are now open. Those interested in applying must attend a Board 101 Information Session on either Tuesday, January 16 or Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Academic Advising Centre Brightspace Page The Academic Advising Centre (AAC) has launched a new Brightspace page for students to enhance your academic success and understanding of university rules and regulations. The page has 10 new videos on various topics, such as how to read your audit, understanding CGPAs, the First-Year Grading Policy and more. Spend an Hour Exploring a Field of Interest with the Job Shadow Program Are you a third- or fourth-year student in the faculties of Public Affairs or Arts and Social Sciences interested in learning through job shadowing?
