Dear Resident and Family Members,

COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families of Calvary Trevu House

I am pleased to inform residents and families that all residents and staff at Calvary Trevu House have received negative results from the latest round of testing conducted on 09 February 2022. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary Trevu House.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary Trevu House will welcome visitors back into the home from Monday 14 February 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary Trevu House is open to visitors from 14 February 2022.
  • Visiting hours are between 9.00am – 5.00pm.
  • Visitors must book an appointment with the home prior to arriving – to book an appointment please call the home at (08) 8522 1045.
  • There is a limit of two (2) visitors allowed per resident, per day.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors are required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home. This takes time, and we ask for your patience as we manage this important screening process.
  • If you have any questions please speak with the home manager.

Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19.

We are very grateful to our residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time, and very much look forward to receiving visitors back into the home. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.

Sincerely,

Ryan Midgley,
