After an exciting two days of action, featuring some of the best amateurs from across Canterbury and New Zealand, the 2025 Lamb and Hayward Canterbury Stroke Play champions were found. Read more below.
HUGE TURNOUT FOR ANNUAL PRESIDENTS, SECRETARIES & CAPTAINS DAY
Representatives from the vast majority of Canterbury Golf clubs were in attendance at the ever-popular annual Presidents, Secretaries & Captains Day at Clearwater on the 10th of February.
In all, there was a massive 115 players in the field which included 34 club Captains, 23 Presidents, and 21 Secretaries/Club Managers all taking part as well as the many invited guests. Read more below.

CANTERBURY MEN'S OVER 50'S & 60'S COMPLETED
The Canterbury Men’s Over 50’s & 60’s Interclub Competition was completed in mid-February, with the final round hosted by McLeans Island Golf Club. 25 teams of 4 competed over the six-round competition, read how it played out below.

RECORD NUMBERS ATTEND 2025 SECONDARY SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP
The numbers and interest continue to rise in the annual Secondary School event with this year’s event seeing a maximum capacity field of 120 players taking part from 20 different schools. 36 teams did battle alongside around 16 individual players as the students looked to make their schools proud.
