,WE NEED YOU FOR ELECTION DAY Help us as a Poll Stander Tuesday, November 4th Dear , Election Day — Tuesday, November 4th — is fast approaching, and we need your help to ensure our Republican team finishes strong! One of the most impactful ways you can make a difference is by volunteering as a Poll Stander for our candidates. This is a simple but powerful act of civic engagement — standing outside your local polling location, proudly holding our candidate signs, and showing your visible support for a balanced, responsible, and common-sense approach to leadership in West Hartford. Each Poll Stander will hold two lightweight 1x4 boards that display all seven of our Republican candidate lawn signs. You can stand or sit comfortably in your own lawn chair, enjoy the fresh air, and play a crucial role in encouraging voter turnout for our slate. We’ve organized the day into 3-hour shifts across all polling locations. The full schedule is available in the attached shift grid, and all slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis — so please sign up soon to reserve your preferred time and location! The shifts are 6am - 9am, 9am - 12pm, 12pm - 3pm, 3pm - 6pm and 6pm - 8pm. The 8 polling locations are King Philip Middle School, Bristow Middle School, West Hartford Town Hall, Charter Oak Elementary School, Conard High School, Sedgwick Middle School, Bugbee Elementary School and Hall High School. To make your experience enjoyable, we’ll take good care of our volunteers:
We’ve also assigned a candidate and our Campaign Manager to each polling location to help coordinate volunteers and ensure the day runs smoothly. This is an all-hands-on-deck effort — and your participation truly matters. Every smiling face holding a sign reminds voters that our team is active, organized, and ready to lead. When we stand together, we strengthen our message and energize the community. If you’ve ever asked, “How can I help?” — this is it. 👉 Sign up for your Poll Stander shift today! Thank you for stepping up, Shawn Daly |
