Orange Shirt Day

On Orange Shirt Day, held annually on September 30, people from all over the country are encouraged to take time to meaningfully reflect on truth and conciliation in Canada. Carleton encourages all members of our community to wear orange, reflect on the impacts of residential and day schools and seek out opportunities towards conciliation—today and beyond.

Visit Carleton Newsroom’s Orange Shirt Day website for stories, events and resources to recognize the experience of survivors of residential and day schools.

Get Involved in Making Campus More Accessible

Carleton University strives to be a leader in creating an inclusive, accessible community. The Dedicated Access Fund (DAF) reflects this commitment. The DAF retrofits existing campus structures and improves overall accessibility, especially for students. Share your experiences and ideas on making Carleton University even more accessible.

Reporting Campus Accessibility Barriers

Share accessibility concerns or ask questions about campus services, programs or resources using the Carleton access contact form. Submissions are reviewed by a member of the Coordinated Accessibility Strategy team and directed to the appropriate person or department for follow-up.
