We once again are excited to sponsor our 2022 Pharmacy Graduate Internship program to your 4th year graduating pharmacy students! We have always provided our internship program to offer students the opportunity to work remotely on their own schedule and hours since 2017. As the coronavirus may have unfortunately affected students short-term career plans such as residencies or fellowships, we hope to offer our internship program to support them as much as possible during this time of uncertainty. The priority is for P1's white coat ceremony. Orders are being put in for P2's, P3's and DPS students as well. Faculty are next on the list. P4's are not required to wear a SJU PCP branded lab coat. PP547 Critical Care Therapeutics: Free ACLS Certification and IPE Opportunities We are currently enrolling students in PP547 Critical Care Therapeutics for Fall 2022. This 2 hour elective course, open to all P3 students, will introduce you to management of critically ill patients. As special opportunities, students enrolled in PP547 will complete free American Heart Association ACLS certification (~$300 value, funded by a PCP faculty grant) and two interprofessional critical care emergency simulations. The certification and simulations are interprofessional and hosted with medical and nursing students from the University of Pennsylvania. This course will be especially useful for students interested in further differentiating themselves for their pursuit of residency training with an advanced certification. Check out the Lilly Visiting Scientists Fellowship Program (VSF)! - Lilly’s VSF program exposes recent Pharm.D., M.D., and relevant Ph.D. or master’s degree graduates to a myriad of pharmaceutical functions. The VSF is a unique, one-year post-graduate program. Fellows will be assigned to one department, yet work closely with other cross-functional areas in areas such as medical, marketing, regulatory, and many other facets of drug development.
