Traffic survey on Redoubt Road

As part of the work to develop the project design, we’ll be doing traffic surveys along Redoubt Road between State Highway 1 (SH1) and Hollyford Drive to better understand vehicle movements. The survey will start on Tuesday 12 August and take 2 days to complete, depending on weather conditions.  

There will be a team of 6 surveyors spread out across both sides of the road between 7am-7pm to monitor traffic movements and volume. 

We will also be flying drones at an altitude of 50m for 1-hour intervals. Drones will not be flown over private properties, and footage collected will only be used to review vehicle movements for safety risks.

Utilities investigations

From mid to late September 2025, we will be doing non-invasive utility investigation work along Redoubt Road. These investigations will involve traffic management to keep our crew and road users safe during the works. 

More information will be available once we have a supplier onboard.
