NRB President’s Council Convenes in DC for 2022 Capitol Hill Media Summit 

On Wednesday, the NRB President’s Council wrapped up its annual Capitol Hill Media Summit in Washington, D.C.!

This year, President’s Council members and their guests heard key insights from esteemed policymakers and newsmakers including Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS), Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA-10), former Rep. Frank R. Wolf (R-VA-10), Judicial Crisis Network president Carrie Campbell Severino, Salem Radio Network host Brandon Tatum, Newsmax chief White House correspondent James Rosen, Washington Times opinion editor Charlie Hurt, and others. Attendees also received an update on NRB’s advocacy activities from NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller and Director of Public Policy and Communications Noelle Garnier.

We thank our President’s Council members for traveling to the Nation’s capital for the summit, and for their continued support of NRB advocacy!

Senator Roger Wicker Honored with NRB’s 2022 First Freedoms Award

Senator Roger F. Wicker (R-MS) was honored with the NRB First Freedoms Award at the 2022 Capitol Hill Media Summit. Past award recipients include former Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS), Alliance Defending Freedom Founder Alan Sears, Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), former Rep. J. Randy Forbes (R-Va.), former Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), and others.

NRB Member Rock Radio Network Impacted by Hurricane Fiona

Millions of residents of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic have been tragically affected by Hurricane Fiona, which left hundreds of thousands of people without water service and power. The island has sustained serious damage from excessive flooding, heavy winds, and devastating mudslides, with downpours expected.

NRB member Rock Radio Network, based in Puerto Rico, has experienced substantial damage from the natural disaster at one of their stations.
