Wonderful to worship together in our different languages God’s gifts at Camp Kedron LLL supports Handmade Collective’s new worship album On Tuesday 23 June, the District Office and the Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA office, will join Lutheran Care’s Winter Woollies campaign to support South Australians doing it tough this winter. We encourage schools, churches and workplaces to take part too. To find out how your community can be involved please visit www.lutherancare.org.au/winterwoollies or email communications@lutherancare.org.au to register your interest. ✨ Every congregation, school or workplace that signs up goes into the draw to feature on the cover of the next Together magazine! ✨ Every four years a National Church Life Survey (NCLS) is conducted across the denominations to gather information from our church members. The Lutheran Church has been involved in this survey from the beginning. In our SA-NT District we have historically had an 80% participation rate across our parishes/congregations. The survey provides excellent information to help congregations in their ministry-mission plans into the future. This is fully funded by the LCANZ and comes at no financial cost to the parish/congregation. We encourage you to engage in this survey (either again or for the first time). We have registered all parishes in our District with NCLS. Congregations will receive an email with further information this week. NOTICEBOARD

Blueprint Ministries is privileged to serve young people, children, their families and communities across the SA-NT District each year. We exist to resource, encourage and focus our communities to grow in Christ and make him known to all people. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers provide opportunities where Christ’s love can be demonstrated, investment can be made in young lives, and growth encouraged. Our camps, young adult activities, children’s packs, leadership training, grandparent ministry and congregational ministry grants invests in young people to nurture growth and encourage connection, using their God given gifts in service of others. To support this vital work, we host the Blueprint Ministries Dinner annually. This event is important for raising the funds needed to keep making a difference in the lives of children and young people! Join us and be a part of this life-changing journey! Your support can help us reach even more young hearts and minds. Be our guest at the Blueprint Ministries Dinner and make a lasting impact.
All congregations and parishes that have a 31 December end of financial year are required to have lodged the Annual Information Statement with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC) prior to 30 June. If you require assistance uploading the necessary documentation to the ACNC portal, please contact the District Office.
CHANGES TO SA-NT COMPLIANCE PROCEDURES From 1 June 2026, the Safe Church Team at Church House (LCA) will be responsible for the compliance of the SA-NT District. Any enquiries about SMO, Safe Church training, Working With Children Checks and VOAN Checks will be conducted by them. They will process the Working With Children Check applications and shortly you will begin to see new application forms for Working With Children Checks with up-to-date procedure instructions included. You can contact the Safe Church Service Desk on 1800 418 588 and safechurch@lca.org.au As a District we would like to thank all the Child Safe coordinators for the work that they do in keeping our congregations a safe place for all. We have enjoyed collaborating with you and will continue to support you if the need arises. CEMETERIES ON CHURCH PROPERTIES The Lutheran Church in South Australia is blessed with a rich history, and for many congregations this is reflected in their cemetery. You can follow the various family trees, they show how life has changed and they are places of public interest. Cemeteries are public places, even though they may be ‘owned’ and maintained by churches or the local council. People are welcome to visit cemeteries to view the family plot or do research about a family or time in history. It is for this reason that we must have public liability insurance on all our cemeteries. We need to be protected in case someone trips over a rock or the edge of a grave and hurts themselves. In addition, we can insure fences and any other property belonging to us, for example a signboard or plan of the cemetery. Please note that we do not need to insure the headstones as these are the responsibility of the family. It is not up to the cemetery to maintain these old headstones. With the insurance renewals about to occur, now is the time to be ensuring that you have public liability insurance on any cemetery associated with your congregation. Please contact LCA Insurance if you have questions about this, or the District Administrator on (08) 8267 5211 or administration.sa-nt@lca.org.au 137 Archer Street, North Adelaide SA 5006 To have your notices and events included in Online Together, please email our Public Relations & Communications Officer, Anna Schubert anna.schubert@lca.org.au Deadline for the next 'Online Together' is Wednesday 1 July 2026 You are receiving this email because you are a pastor or church leader of the LCA SA-NT District, you have signed up to receive it, or you have indicated to us you wish to receive it.
