Welcome to the Barnet Together Community Organisation Support Newsletter from Inclusion Barnet (21 April 2022).

Cuddly dogs and hearts, you'd think I was choosing this week's funders just for their logos!  Not quite, but it certainly helps.  The four highlighted this week are just a sampling of the 1,000s of funders out there looking to fund charities, community groups, CICs etc.  If these aren't right for you, do get in touch I can set about looking for those looking to fund projects like yours.  In the News, Jobs, Training and Events section you'll find a variety of items that should be of interest, including an interactive workshop on What will the environmental crisis mean for different social groups?. If this topic appeals, then sign up to our fortnightly environmental newsletter, you can read a recent issue here.

EVENTS: Can you walk to help Barnet families?

This year is Home-Start Barnet's 25th anniversary!  To celebrate, they are organising a London Bridges Challenge: a summery sponsored walk along the Thames, taking in some of London’s iconic bridges and landmarks. The event will be held on Sunday 10 July 2022 and there will be three different lengths of walks to choose from.

The day is set to be a true celebration and lots of fun too. You can expect dressing up, face-painting, and games as you stroll.

They would love as many supporters as possible from Barnet to walk, celebrate, and raise funds with them on the day.
