If you're interested in doing something FREE this month in Burnley, head to Gallery OneTwoThree on St James's Street which is currently showcasing Earth, Cloth, Brick - a free exhibition showcasing new work by members of Burnley based community art group, Ground Up. 

Featuring ceramics, felting, silk painting, banners and mosaic, this inspiring collection celebrates creativity, community and the people who make Burnley special.

The exhibition is free to attend and is available to visit until Saturday 28th March.

Looking for a fun way to get moving this spring? As the evenings start getting lighter in March, it's the perfect time to lace up those trainers and join Pints & Pacers, the brand-new running club organised by local Bank Parade bar, The Loom. 

This relaxed, social 5km run takes place every Thursday at 7pm, setting off from the bar and welcoming runners of all abilities. 

There's no need to sign-up in advance, simply turn up at The Loom ready to run. And of course, once the run is done, there's time to enjoy a well-earned pint!

Get ready for a night of pure nostalgia as The ABBA REUNION Tribute Show arrives at Burnley Mechanics Theatre on Friday 27th March from 7.30pm. 

Created by an award-winning West End director, producer and choreographer  and starring the original 'Frida' from the London West End cast - this spectacular concert celebrates the music that defined a generation.

MORE ACTS ANNOUNCED FOR BURNLEY LIVE 🎸

Burnley Live 2026

Burnley's biggest free music festival Burnley Live, is back from 1st - 4th May and lots more acts have been announced. 

Taking to the main stage on Saturday 2nd May will be Ian McSherry, The Rude Boyz, Supernova, Marching Bones and Complete Control  (at 9pm at Remedy). While on Sunday 3rd May, the main stage headliners will include On Edge, The Vibe, Skafull, Jeramiah Ferrari and Roadkill Revival (at 9pm at Penny Black).

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE VINTAGE & PERFORMANCE CAR SHOW 2026 

Owners of vintage and performance vehicles are invited to take centre stage at this year's Burnley Vintage & Performance Car Show with registration now officially open. 

Filled with horsepower, history and high-octane entertainment, this unique event organised by Burnley Business Improvement District (BID) with support from The Rotary Club of Burnley roars back into action on Saturday 12th September offering a unique opportunity for motor enthusiasts to showcase their prized machines to thousands of visitors in Burnley.

Burnley Culture Makers are inviting local creatives to be part of a community-led outdoor gallery from Tanner Street to the Turf, celebrating the theme 'Burnley is my Paradise' .

  • Digital Artworks and Graphics

DONATE CLOTHING TO THE WORKING WARDROBE 👔

Relove the Preloved at Down Town is expanding and the team are asking for your support to help members of the community who need smart workwear for interviews and new roles. The right outfit can boost confidence and remove a major barrier to employment and that’s exactly what they'd like to provide.

Down Town are currently seeking donations of: trousers, skirts, suits, dresses, shirts, ties, shoes and bags.

Your contribution will help people step into opportunities feeling confident, prepared and valued.

GETTING TO BURNLEY 🚗

Getting to Burnley is easy whether you’re coming by train, bus or car. The town is well served by rail with both Burnley Manchester Road and Burnley Central stations just a short walk from the town centre. Burnley Central Bus Station offers regular local and regional services and if you’re driving, Burnley sits just off the M65 with plenty of town centre car parks including at Charter Walk and Pioneer Place.
