Offering for September 16, 2023

Pioneer Operating Budget

Even though the Bible says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35), sometimes it’s just not possible to give. Let’s illustrate this because it might help each of us when it comes to the part of our worship service where we can receive a blessing, but only if we give. I’m going to ask you to hold out your hand and clench your fist Good! Just hold it there as we illustrate the statement, “When you clench your fist, no one can put anything in your hand” Alex Haley quote. Another way of saying it is, “A clenched fist won’t give, and can’t receive.”
