Elaine Nsoesie, associate professor of global health, was selected as a Health Innovator to Watch by the Boston Congress of Public Health, a nonprofit established in 2021 to support emerging and established thought leaders, researchers, and advocates committed to social justice and health equity, and to democratize access to evidence-based public health thought.

 
 

Alum Stephen Murray (SPH'22), a harm reduction program manager at Boston Medical Center, was a panelist at a White House event on August 31 to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day. Murray is an overdose survivor, former paramedic, and currently the director of the Safespot Overdose Hotline.
