Sapphire’s Outhouse Races
Saturday, February 15 | 2:30pm
Registration is at 1:30 P.M. Saturday. Static parade (the viewing and judging) is at 2:30 P.M. with the races to follow in the Sapphire Valley Ski Area, 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. It’s $125 per homebuilt entry. If you want to rent an outhouse from Sapphire, there’s an additional charge. Checks payable to SVMA.
This year's theme is "Yabba Dabba Do!"—so don your best prehistoric or caveman costume for some fun (costumes are not required to participate). Choose from two sessions: 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM or 1:00 PM - 2:45 PM. It’s just $50 per bowler or $250 per team. Sponsorships are available too! All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina.
