Important Dates Friday, November 10, 2023: Last day to withdraw from late fall term courses with a full fee adjustment. Wednesday, November 15, 2023: Last day for academic withdrawal from full fall and late fall courses. Wednesday, November 15, 2023: Last day to request formal exam accommodations for full fall, late fall and fall/winter examinations from the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities. Complete Carleton's Self-Identification Survey Carleton has launched a new self-identification survey to better understand the representation, experiences and perspectives of students and employees. All students are encouraged to complete the survey through Carleton Central (log in through Carleton360). The information provided through this survey is strictly confidential and you can revisit the survey at any time to update your information. SOAR Student Leadership Conference Carleton University and the Student Experience Office (SEO) will host the tenth annual SOAR Student Leadership Conference on Saturday, January 20, 2024, with tickets now on sale for only $10. For students interested in presenting at SOAR, applications for education session proposals are open until Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Networking Tips for Co-op Students Attending TECHworking Night TECHworking is an opportunity for co-op students to network in-person with some of Ottawa’s top tech employers. Hosted at Kanata’s tech park, this event is open to all co-op students who are, or have been, enrolled in the COOP1000 course and are interested in working in the local tech sector. Centre for Student Academic Support The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) is a centralized collection of learning support services designed to help you achieve your goals through academic assistance with course content, academic writing, skill development and exam preparation workshops. Join an online learning community or visit the CSAS website to find which services suit you best. Non-Credit Student Success Certificate The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) offers the Non-Credit Student Success Certificate. This certificate includes academic and wellness modules that aim to help you with learning, academic and mental health supports and resources as you navigate your academic journey. ![]() Email and Confidential Information The Registrar’s Office takes measures to ensure personal and academic information is only disclosed to the student to whom it refers. For example, confidential information will only be discussed by email to a Carleton email account. The Registrar's Office will not respond to emails sent from an off-campus account with any information specific to a student’s record. If you would like to authorize the release of personal or academic information or documents to a third party, complete a Third Party Release of Information through Carleton360. Chosen First Name A chosen first name is the first name that you commonly go by and differs from your legal first name. Request a chosen first name through Carleton360 (click on Carleton Central, 'Chosen Name' from the 'Personal Information' menu to get started). Read the full post for a list of all the systems that support chosen names. Deadline for Application to Graduate Thursday, November 30, 2023 is the deadline to apply for February graduation. If you will be finishing your degree requirements by the end of the fall term, be sure to complete the online application to graduate in Carleton Central (log in through Carleton360).
