Current first-year PCP students: want to help the incoming fall 2024 students THRIVE? Apply to be a THRIVE HIVE mentor!
The “Thrive Hive” is a group of upperclassmen student mentors who provide leadership, guidance and support to incoming first-year students participating in the THRIVE Early Arrival Program. During the three day THRIVE EAP, peer mentors work as a team alongside SJU Health & Well-being staff to provide a vibrant, fun and engaging experience for THRIVE participants! The Thrive Hive peer mentors are committed to helping new Hawks explore health and well-being topics through the nine dimensions of well-being, providing a solid foundation for a first year experience where each student can Thrive! The SJU Writing Center is now accepting applications for the fall 2024 tutor training class (ENG 345: Writing Center Theory & Pedagogy.) We invite students of ALL MAJORS to apply! Ideal candidates are current first-year students who will be sophomores in fall 2024, but we also accept students farther along in their academic careers. DIA x Phi Delta Chi Alumni Zoom Panel Event
Come and learn about the pharmaceutical industry with some Phi Delta Chi Alumni. The functional areas we have included are Medical Affairs, Field Medical, and Marketing. NCPA Pill Counting Competition
NCPA is holding a pill counting competition with the first place price being $100! Entry fee is $5 and there is sign up sheet for the event. There are prizes for 2nd and 3rd place as well! DVSHP Night with Industry
DVSHP is holding an industry night on Tuesday, March 19th starting from 5:30PM. You have the opportunity to explore industry vendors and have dinner. If you are assigned an IPPE or need to retake an ESAR course during the summer please see the Registration Assistance Documents. Only add an IPPE if you have been in contact with Professor Thomson. Research Day will be held is Thursday, April 11 5:30-8 p.m. in the ARC!
Research Day is a University-wide poster session meant to recognize students’ research and scholarly efforts and highlight aspects of faculty research/scholarly activities in any discipline or focus. The event is open to all students who are interested in presenting a poster on their research/scholarship pursuits. Students are invited to submit their abstracts for inclusion in the event. The abstract submission form is now open and are due Monday, March 4, 2024. You must include an IRB, IACUC and/or IBC protocol number and approval date (if applicable). Nutrition Support Pharmacy Fellowship Program Recruiting
Emory University Hospital is recruiting PharmDs (PharmD Candidate 2024, PGY1, PGY2, or pharmacist) for the ONE and ONLY Nutrition Support Pharmacy Fellowship program in the U.S., the FIRST of its kind to be endorsed by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. We invite potential candidates to learn more about our program and the wide variety of patient care and research opportunities available with our award-winning nutrition support team!
