National Science Week is just five weeks away, so while you can still register an event, sign up to hold a SCINEMA screening or host Brain Break science morning tea, it's time to start looking for events to attend!

Thank you to the more than 1200 event holders who have registered their event on our website. National Science Week is a massively collaborative festival and it doesn't happen without your generous contributions of time, money and passion.

We've got a free set of 100 science related questions grouped into ten themed rounds, as well as some games for hosting a trivia night in pubs, clubs and other venues.

SCINEMA Film Festival Community Screenings

SCINEMA International Science Film Festival

Host your own SCINEMA Community Screening during Science Week. Whether it’s at your school, library, in your local pub or even in your lounge room, you can host your own public or private event. All you need is a screen, computer, access to the internet and an audience (popcorn optional).

Be a part of National Science Week by hosting a Brain Break morning tea in your workplace or school. It's free to register and we'll send you quizzes and instructions for some sciencey activities to try together, as well as a poster and drink coasters.
