Welcome to your seventh day of Transfer Student Orientation! Below you'll find more information about today's events.

If you have any questions or would like to know more information about any of the New Student Orientation (NSO) events, look for our well-trained Orientation Leaders, PHINS (Peers Helping Integrate New Students) all around campus in light blue and navy blue t-shirts.

Today's Calendar

New & Old Transfer Student Mixer

Gutmann College House Lawn | 3pm-5pm

Join TSO to socialize with transfers throughout Penn. 

Second-Year Celebration: Summer Soirée at the Penn Museum

Penn Museum (Entrance through Warden Garden) | 6:30pm-9pm

Class of 2029 Class Board presents: Celebrate the start of your second year with an unforgettable evening at the Penn Museum. Explore world-renowned galleries filled with extraordinary artifacts from ancient civilizations, stroll through the Museum's beautiful gardens, and enjoy desserts, music, dancing, and live performances by fellow Penn students. Student DJs will keep the energy going throughout the night, making this a perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and kick off the year together.

Garden party attire is recommended.

Late Night Comedy

Platt Performing Arts House, Lobby | 9pm

Meet the real Penn and its funniest groups on campus, free for all students. See five of Penn’s premier comedy groups and their stellar bands, including Bloomers, Simply Chaos, Penn Six, Without a Net, and Mask and Wig, performing everything from sketch comedy to improv. 

Dining Café Hours For Sunday, August 23

Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed on Penn Dining website. The options for today are listed below. 

Brunch: 10am-2pm

Hill College House, 1920 Commons, and Kings Court English House (Halal available) 

Dinner: 5pm-8pm
