Tiger Brennan Drive Overpass Update

The Tiger Brennan Drive, Palmerston bound on and off ramps will open to traffic tomorrow, Saturday 18 January, marking 90% completion for the project.

The ramps reconnect Tiger Brennan Drive, Palmerston bound traffic to and from Berrimah Road north which has been closed to road users since March 2023.

Temporary traffic management will be in place to ensure only the left turn movement to and from the ramps.

The new overpass will carry Berrimah Road traffic over Tiger Brennan Drive, separating the major flow of traffic on Tiger Brennan Drive from the traffic movements on Berrimah Road.

Access to Berrimah Road south is anticipated to be restored by the end of February, subject to the impacts of the wet season.
