Examinations are normally held all seven days of the week. Preparing for exams can be daunting and can raise many questions. To help yourself prepare, visit the Current Students web post on what you need to know ahead of the exam period – including Exam Support Network details and Scheduling and Examination Services’ information page with answers to common exam questions. Carleton has many resources available to help you academically and beyond. Supporting your mental health and wellness is key as you navigate the end of term. If you are observing Ramadan, you will be able to break your fast at sundown while writing in-person or online exams. We wish you all the best as you finish the term! Tentative Agreements Reached with CUPE 4600 Carleton University and CUPE Local 4600 unit 1 (Teaching Assistants, some Research Assistants and Service Assistants) and unit 2 (Contract Instructors) both reached tentative Collective Agreements last week. PASS Mock Exams The exam period is around the corner, but fear not, the Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) can help you pass with flying colours! If your course is supported by Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS), check out the final exam period schedule on the CSAS website for dates, times and locations. Experienced PASS peer-facilitators are ready to assist you with either a mock final exam or a final review session, depending on your course requirements. Student Experience Questionnaires Available Student Experience Questionnaires are available until Wednesday, April 12, 2023. At any time during the questionnaire period, click on the link in your Carleton email or visit the Student Experience Questionnaire website to complete your questionnaires. You can also access the online Student Experience Questionnaires through the Carleton360 student portal. Getting Ready for Fall Registration As we head into the summer term, it’s a good time to make sure you’re ready for registration in the fall. Please visit the current students website for some great tips on ensuring you’re well prepared. Some things to consider in advance of registration include: Changes of Program Elements (COPE), government funding applications, registration status and year level, account balance and class schedule. ![]() Fall/Winter 2023-2024 Class Schedule It’s almost time to register for the 2023-2024 academic year! The fall/winter 2023-2024 class schedule and registration course planning tool will be available in Carleton Central (access by logging into Carleton360) on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Registration begins on Saturday, July 8, 2023 for returning students. Your exact time-ticket will be available on Carleton Central approximately one week preceding the registration time period. Registration will remain open until the posted deadline. The Student Registration Assistance service will be available to assist students with registration throughout the summer, both in-person and via email and phone, beginning Friday, May 26, 2023. Learning and Writing Support Online Resources (CSAS) Join the Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) for one-on-one learning and writing support sessions. Check out up-to-date information and registration details for writing consultation sessions and learning support sessions on the CSAS website. Additionally, students can access CSAS online workshops and resources on Brightspace 24/7.
