When Queensland Hereford producers Glen and Maree Gray were recognised by Meat & Livestock Australia for excellence in eating quality, they used detailed MSA feedback to pinpoint what was driving their success. Their data-led approach highlights how targeted breeding and management decisions are delivering proven carcase performance and reinforcing the value of Hereford genetics in commercial systems.
Herefords kings off grass again with weight gain superiority in Victorian trial
Hereford steers have recorded the highest overall weight gain in Australia’s only grass-fed trial, the 50th Lardner Park Steer Trial in Victoria.

✅ First, email your DNA request spreadsheet to registrar@herefordsaustralia.com.au so the paperwork can be processed.
✅ Once processed, you’ll receive an acknowledgment letter and batch paperwork back.
✅ Print this paperwork and include it with your samples when posting direct to the lab.
🚫 Please do not send samples to the lab without the batch paperwork from Herefords Australia.
