With nearly $8 billion of projects underway or proposed in the city, from a $1.95 billion new hospital to five-star hotels, Adelaide is primed for growth in 2022 and beyond. CreaTech City Challenge

We’re looking for SA innovators, entrepreneurs and businesses to design and deliver highly visible creative technology solutions that will revitalise the city and North Adelaide. Grants totalling $300,000 will be available as part of the Challenge.

Welcome to Accolade 

Accolade Wines has relocated its head office to Adelaide CBD, with at least 160 staff to occupy an entire level at the GPO Exchange on Franklin Street. The move was made with help from AEDA, as part of our new Welcome to Adelaide program.

ADLFree Wi-Fi

A new high speed Wi-Fi service will be rolled out across Adelaide city with the Australian Government, City of Adelaide and TPG Telecom partnering to deliver a state-of-the-art system. More than 250 wireless access points will power the new network.

City Business Support

This free package has been extended until December 2022 and provides specialised services to support city businesses impacted by COVID-19, promote business capability and better position themselves in an increasingly globalised and digitally connected marketplace.

Adelaide Christmas Festival

The City of Adelaide’s Christmas Incentive Scheme has provided $160,000 to local performers and event organisers to add some festive cheer and spirit to the city. The Bauble Canopies on Peel St and Vaughan Place are available to view until 2 January, as will the Augmented Reality Trail.

We are looking forward to working with you in 2022, where we will build on the successes of the first 11 months of the Agency – including injecting $658,600 into the city economy via our Adelaide Long Lunch and Dinner's On Us campaigns, running the inaugural WellFest Adelaide festival, Rundle Mall winning Australia's Retail Precinct of the Year and our other business support initiatives. Our office will close on Friday 24 December and reopen Tuesday 4 January but contact us any time in the new year if you need business support – we are here to help. AEDA wishes you and your family a safe and happy holiday season!
