Following an overview presentation, there will be dynamic small group discussions around (i) funding Indigenous-led organizations, led by The Circle and Sitka Foundation; (ii) funding in climate amid competing priorities, led by Peter Gilgan Foundation; (iii) measuring carbon footprint across portfolio, led by Consecon Foundation. New PFC Board DirectorsJoin us in welcoming three new Directors whose mandates with PFC began on June 8. Amanda Bernard, Laidlaw's Director of Indigenous Programs, who focuses her work on allowing Indigenous youth to connect with their land, language, culture and each other, and launches Indigenous businesses in her spare time. Genesa Greening, Vancity Community Foundation's CEO, who has built a successful 25-year career as a community leader and social justice advocate, and still states that her most important title is Mom. Teresa Marques, Rideau Hall Foundation's President & CEO, an experienced fundraiser who is interested in how giving patterns in Canada are changing, and seeking to drive social change through
philanthropy.
