On to another adventure
for one of our pioneers: Liza GouletAfter more than twenty years serving our organization and members, our beloved long-time colleague, Liza Goulet, will be moving on
in June 2023 to pursue other projects that are close to her heart.Liza has been a steadfast presence at PFC since the very beginning, working hand in hand, and in partnership, with our founding President, Hilary Pearson, to build this organization from the ground up. She has overseen a vast array of initiatives and developments – and simply put, PFC would not be where it is today without her creative ideas, principled professionalism, and unfaltering dedication. Please join us in thanking Liza for her extraordinary contributions and in offering our very best wishes as she pursues her next adventure.

November 15
Canada's National Philanthropy DayAs we celebrate this day in diverse ways, we are reminded of the National Philanthropy Day Act which was enacted 10 years ago in 2012. - "Throughout Canada, in each and every year, the 15th day of November shall be known as “National Philanthropy Day”.
- "Whereas philanthropy helps build strong communities and active civic
participation by bringing people together to serve a common goal."
PFC applauds that our government and fellow citizens believe it is important to honour all Canadians who demonstrate the spirit of giving by recognizing National Philanthropy Day.
