No images? Click here December 13, 2023 Tornadoes in TennesseeAs you may have heard, regions of the Southeastern US were hit with devastating tornadoes the weekend of December 9 - 10. The OPC Presbytery of the Southeast (PSE) reports that one OPC family is known to have had to seek shelter. The PSE will continue to look into further needs, and we'll provide an update if more information becomes available. Please pray for those affected in this region. Hope OPC Syracuse, NY deacon and pilot John Mossotti, flew to Jaffrey OPC in New Hampshire to drop off four crates provided by Hope and Grace OPC in Lisbon, NY. Thank you all for your efforts! The Reformed Deacon: Releasing January 1: In this episode, Rev. John Fikkert, the director of the OPC Committee on Ministerial Care (CMC) addressed the group of Presbytery Diaconal Committee (PDC) members at the recent Presbytery Diaconal Summit to thank them for their work with his committee in coming alongside current and retired ministers and their wives. John says, "Thank you for wading through some difficult, challenging situations...I think PDCs are essential if we're thinking about how to care for ministers.” Sessions will be released periodically on The Reformed Deacon, so be sure to look for them.
