NACY Members,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our "Young People Are Not Okay" campaign, which addresses the critical challenges facing young people across Canada. With rising mental health issues, poverty, and systemic inequities, young people need our collective support more than ever.

Why this campaign is urgent:

  • Mental Health: 1 in 5 children and youth face mental health challenges, with lasting impacts if left unaddressed. Source: Children First Canada
  • Poverty: Over 1 million children in Canada are living in poverty, facing significant barriers to stability and success. Source: UNICEF Canada
  • Systemic Inequities: Youth from marginalized communities experience disproportionate challenges in education, employment, and health. Source: Statistics Canada
