Former youth in care share stories and recipes in new e-cookbook, "A Safe Plate"
Featuring the personal stories and recipes of nine young people across Canada with lived experience of the child welfare system, A Safe Plate shares recipes of meals that hold special meaning for these young people and provided them with a sense of comfort and home during their time in care.
Government of Canada is seeking your input for the Second State of Youth Report that will shape the future of youth policies and opportunities. This report will reflect the voices and concerns of youth across Canada, addressing issues that matter most to YOU.
Who can participate? Youth between the ages of 16 and 29 living in Canada.

We’re seeking inspiring speakers to share their expertise on topics like advocacy, building online communities, policy engagement, or other areas of interest that align with leadership development and empowerment. - A focused presentation (1 hour) by the speaker, providing valuable insights and actionable strategies.
- An open discussion (15 minutes) for Q&A and dialogue.
