Featuring the personal stories and recipes of nine young people across Canada with lived experience of the child welfare system, A Safe Plate shares recipes of meals that hold special meaning for these young people and provided them with a sense of comfort and home during their time in care.

2025 marks The Student Commission of Canada's 25th anniversary as the Centre of Excellence for Youth Engagement. They're celebrating this milestone by reflecting on our impact and reaffirming our commitment to amplifying youth voices.

Join SCC for the Against the Current Knowledge Exchange on May 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Toronto Reference Library. This event will feature discussions and activities with Canadian academics, nonprofit leaders, and youth changemakers, exploring youth leadership in today’s world.

NACY is excited to announce the launch of the EMERGING LEADERS Roundtable (2024-2025) mentorship program. We’re seeking inspiring speakers to share their expertise on topics like advocacy, building online communities, policy engagement, or other areas of interest that align with leadership development and empowerment. Each session will include:

  • A focused presentation (1 hour) by the speaker, providing valuable insights and actionable strategies.
  • An open discussion (15 minutes) for Q&A and dialogue.

Stories from our Frontline Workers: A first-hand narrative about the program, the volunteers, and/or the frontline staff supporting young people directly.
