The Environmental team conducted over 200 environmental site assessments to support Viva’s acquisition of OTR, completing a national program over 12 months across their network of operating service stations and convenience stores. In South Australia, Fyfe’s civil engineers are assisting Totness Commercial in delivering a new commercial retail park in Mount Barker. Anchored by a Bunnings superstore as its landmark tenant, the development will be delivered over two stages and includes a 483-space car park. Our survey teams have also been busy. In Darwin and Queensland, we have commenced work on two significant pipeline projects for our client, Nacap. Meanwhile, in NSW, we started working on the next phase of the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone. We’re pleased to announce that we've commenced detailed engineering design work on a 26.5-kilometre, medium-pressure pipeline project, part of Arrow Energy’s Surat Gas Project. This pipeline will connect a proposed compressor station to a central processing plant. Also, in South Australia, we’re supporting the Barossa Valley Council with its Battery Energy Storage System, which will replace generators with a pump station to provide power during outages. We’re also supporting BHP with its Prominent Hill Operation Expansion project. Fyfe engineers will develop a 1,320-metre shaft, including electrical hoisting, material handling, and surface handling systems. Additionally, we’re helping BHP explore the safety benefits of switching from compressed air to 100% nitrogen in heavy machinery tyres. Thank you for your interest in Fyfe’s work and projects. Gary Spence Zero-emission hydrogen buses and dedicated refuelling stations are in QLD’s future. Fyfe is supporting Lion Energy with its innovative hydrogen hub at the Port of Brisbane, advancing the state’s decarbonisation efforts with hydrogen-powered transport. Discover how Fyfe supported the Snapper Point Peaking Power Station project from concept to operation. The plant’s rapid generation technologies, such as gas turbines, mean it can ramp up and down quickly in line with demand. Replacing compressed air with pure nitrogen in heavy machinery’s tyres can enhance safety. Fyfe's feasibility study for a modular Nitrogen Generation Plant at Saraji mine showed BHP how it could safely operate a nitrogen plant on site. Learn what needs to happen to make green hydrogen viable, including reduced production costs, improved electrolyser efficiency, and successfully managing storage and transport challenges. Fyfe's expert solutions help clients navigate these complex processes. With advanced tools and over 40 years of survey expertise, Fyfe delivers precise railway solutions in urban and remote areas. We’ve used drones to collect data, handled hundreds of long-track section reference marks, and undertaken a range of rail-related environmental assessments. Precision and safety are non-negotiables in civil construction and mining, making accurate service locating vital to any operation’s success. Fyfe’s comprehensive service locating solutions ensure safety and compliance. With decades of experience in critical minerals and civil construction, we understand the sector’s unique challenges. |
