Our Next Meeting
Barnet VCFSE Environmental NetworkThursday 15 September, 10.30 - 12 noon
If you've already been to a Barnet VCFSE Environmental Network meeting then you'll automatically receive a MS Teams link for our next meeting on 15th September.
Just in time for The Great Big Green Week (24 September to 2 October). If you are planning ant events during this week do get in touch as we're keeping a diary to avoid clashes and are working on some borough-wide promotion out on all the events being planned. If you've not joined us yet, then do email Ellen. These are informal and informative networking sessions for those working in the Barnet Voluntary, Community, Faith & Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector, where we can come together to discuss environmental issues in the Borough, and work out how we as a sector can make a difference. This networking group will raise awareness of environmental projects that are happening in the Borough, help to establish
partnerships and joint initiatives and seek funding opportunities. If you have any topics you would like to raise/discuss at future meetings, do let Ellen know. These Network meetings are now
receiving administrative support from Stonegrove Community Trust through funding awarded by the National Lottery Community Fund's Together For the Planet programme. FOR PAST E-NEWSLETTERS

Submit a proposal to the International Tree Foundation and they can help you make them a reality! The Branching Out Community Fund is now accepting applications for the winter 2022/2023 planting season! They're providing grants between £200 and £2000 to schools and community groups to plant trees, hedgerows and orchards. Tracking our ancient trees As well as making an effort to plant more trees, the Woodland Trust is trying to protect our oldest trees by keeping an inventory of ancient trees all around the country. If you have any in your area, you can add them to the
map.
