New Announcements

Today starts Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15/22 to 10/15/22)! Did you know September 15 is the start of Hispanic Heritage month? Why does Hispanic Heritage month start in the middle of the month? “The day of September 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September18, respectively. Also, Columbus Day or Día de la Raza, which is October 12, falls within this 30 day period.” (learn more HERE) PCP would like to take this opportunity to celebrate our rich cultural diversity! To help us celebrate, we'd like to share stories of PCP community members of Hispanic heritage. Please consider sharing a fun fact about your heritage that we can share with everyone who reads STP. Click HERE to share your story! Posted by Dr. Thomas. 9/15
