NSO continues today in full force, featuring the PennTracks Tours, An Evening At The Philadelphia Museum Of Art, and the second night of the Late Night Activities Fair! Below you'll find more information about today's events.
For today’s weather, we're expecting a mostly sunny and hot forecast again, with a high of 89 degrees and a chance of rain. Find the shade and stay dry!

New Student Orientation Schedule is Live!
The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at some of the many programs that you have to look forward to this week. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS) Orientation Leader who will guide you through the week. Transfer Student Farmer's Market @ Clark Park
Meet at Harnwell | 11am-1pm
Transfer Student Thrift Store Crawl
Meet at Harnwell | 2:30pm-3:30pm
Optional; Go on a tour to nearby thrift stores in West Philly with tPHINS and fellow new transfer students and be introduced to the economic fit options in the area.
Class of 2026 Evening at the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Bus stops at 34th & Walnut St. and 37th & Spruce St. | 6:30pm-9pm
This is the gala event of NSO that everyone talks about! Enjoy music, dancing, and free admission to the world-class galleries! Dinner served at the museum.
Late Night Activities Fair
College Green | 11pm-1am
Grab a friend and enjoy games, food, and raffles while meeting student groups.

Here’s a quick review of events from yesterday!
Transfer students enjoyed a trip to Penn's Landing.
Students received advice from their mentors and learned about how to best navigate through their time at Penn.
The Late Night Activities Fair was an opportunity for students to meet their peers, learn about student organizations at Penn, play games, and enter raffles.
Dining Café Hours For Saturday, August 27
Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed through the Penn Dining website here. Dining swipes on your PennCard can be used at the Dining cafés. Dining café options for today include: Lauder College House, English House, Falk at Penn Hillel, Hill House, and 1920 Commons. Shabbat lunch will be provided at Falk at Hillel and kosher and halal options are available during the dinner at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
