When the Reservoirs Run Out PASTOR'S BLOG As the drought tightens its grip on the western states here in the U.S., the dramatic plunge of reservoir water levels is stunning. We Mourn We have been saddened to learn of Helena Stout’s recent death in Loma Linda. Along with her husband John and children Lynn (Richert) and Ron, Helena was a longtime member of our Pioneer Family, working for years in the Lake Union Conference office, and cheerfully serving in various Pioneer ministries. For her family we pray the comforting grace and hope of Jesus’ promise, “I am the Resurrection and the Life,” embedded in the Bible’s last prayer, “Even so, come,
Lord Jesus.”
