We are already halfway through the academic year, and as President I’ve taken great pleasure in seeing dining events in College resuming over the last few weeks. We welcomed back thirty alumni to the Lewis Society of Medicine Dinner on 12th February, and marked the halfway point of many students’ undergraduate careers at the Marlowe Dinner in Hall on 18th February (read more below). On the 26th February we welcomed civic leaders and other guests at the Queenborough Feast. It’s been a busy time, and we are now looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Nicholas Bacon Law Society on 12th March, the Fellows’ & Old Members’ Guest Night on 19th March, and the 1994-98 reunion at the Beldam Dinner, with more events planned for the summer term. From the Development and Alumni Relations OfficeMarlies van Wijk, Telephone Campaign March 2022From 21 March a small team of current students will stay in College after Lent term to reach out to our alumni across the world. Our students are looking forward to providing you with an update on College life, hearing how you have been throughout the pandemic and finding out what is going on in your world. The team of students ranges from first year undergraduates to Master's students, studying subjects from math to music. A couple of students also took part in our small telephone campaign in December, which was our first campaign since the pandemic – they are looking forward to joining the team again. For our other students, this will be a new experience. If you receive a call, we hope you welcome the opportunity to share some of your Corpus stories. To find out more about our students, keep your eye on our social media channels - we will introduce the team over the next few weeks. Development Report
