Important Dates

Tuesday, September 30, 2025: Last day to withdraw from full fall term and fall/winter courses with a full fee adjustment (financial withdrawal).

Through Accessible Career Transitions (ACT), Career Services offers specialized career-readiness programming for students who identify as having a disability, as well as support for employers who want to hire more inclusively.

Help Advance Accessibility at Carleton

The Coordinated Accessibility Strategy (CAS) team is looking for 15 volunteers made up of students, faculty, and staff to help advance accessibility on campus as part of the CAS Advisory Group. The advisory group guides the implementation of the CAS by providing advice, strategic input and leadership. If you are interested, please complete the self-nomination process by Monday, October 6, 2025.

Student Mental Health Policy

Carleton University’s Student Mental Health Policy [PDF, 174 KB] was approved in October 2024 as required by the Strengthening Accountability and Student Supports Act, 2024. The policy outlines a campus-wide, inclusive approach to supporting student mental health and well-being and provides information on the programs, policies, services and supports available to students.

Carleton remains committed to supporting positive student mental health and well-being, recognizing that every student’s needs are unique and ever-changing. The Mental Health and Wellness website is a great place to find helpful information, resources and details about the programs, services and supports available to you.

 

Human Rights Policy

Carleton’s Human Rights Policy [PDF, 333 KB] was approved in January 2025, as required by the Strengthening Accountability and Student Supports Act, 2024. The policy ensures you are protected from discrimination and/or harassment and have the resources to support you when needed. The Human Rights Policy serves to affirm the human rights and dignity of every Carleton community member. 

Make a Formal Human Rights Complaint

If you’ve experienced or witnessed a human rights incident, you can report it confidentially through the Department of Equity and Inclusive Communities (EIC) or by reaching out to one of the intake offices. You can also use EIC’s online form to submit an incident report anonymously. No matter how you choose to report, every situation is handled with fairness and care.
