Dear Friend of ANDE East and Southeast Asia,

Entering the second month of 2022, ANDE is excited to present to you our 2022 event calendar. We are planning to have numerous opportunities and space to connect us all while strengthening and expanding our network in the region! 

To stay connected, ANDE ESEA would like to introduce you to our dear team members. Meet Ploy Jintjutha Phongphansathaporn, Senior Program Coordinator. Ploy is leading communications and Social Media along with Climate & Environmental-related programs. She also takes care of member relations management for Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, North Korea, and Laos.

 

Also on the team is Pop Pasiwat Sutthirak, Program Associate. Pasiwat is leading Gender-related programs including Gender Learning Community, ANDE Gender Equality Initiative, Capacity Building Facility, and Pay For Results Fund Regranting Facilities. He is also in charge of member relations management for Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Timor-Leste, and Macao.

Lastly, meet our newest team member, Ti Nannaphas Rungrueng who is leading Impact Measurement and Management-related Programs including Investment Manager Training, Funder Learning Lab Asia-Pacific, and Accelerator Learning Lab. Ti is responsible for member relations management for Myanmar, Cambodia, China,Taiwan, Brunei, and Mongolia.

Investment Manager Training
Date: 21-25 March 2021

The ANDE Investment Manager Training course is the only course of its kind which provides a comprehensive overview of investing in small and growing businesses. The course is designed both for investment managers who are actively making investments in SGBs and capacity development providers who are working to support entrepreneurs through the investment process

Strategies for Incubators and Accelerators: Strengthening Ecosystems for Women Climate Entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa
Women entrepreneurs are critical to a thriving and inclusive economy, and yet they face numerous challenges in growing their businesses. These challenges are compounded for women climate entrepreneurs (WCEs), given limited research that assesses the issues or presents actionable recommendations to the wider ecosystem. This knowledge product identifies challenges and opportunities for WCEs with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa – specifcally, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa and Malawi.
