I hope this message finds you well. Tonight marks a crucial moment for our community and our party as we gather for the West Hartford Republican Town Committee's official Candidate Endorsement Meeting. This pivotal event will take place at 7pm ET in room #400 of the West Hartford Town Hall.

As outlined in our Bylaws, it is the responsibility of the West Hartford RTC to select and endorse candidates for the upcoming municipal elections, specifically for the Board of Education and Town Council. This meeting holds significant importance in our democratic process, particularly given the current political landscape at the local, state, and federal levels.

Please note, tonight's Endorsement Meeting is distinct from our regular monthly gatherings and is not open to the general public. Only RTC Members or their eligible proxies, eligible applicants for municipal candidacy, applicants' nominators, requested family and guests of eligible applicants, and approved members of the press will be granted access.

We are pleased to share that we have a robust lineup of eight applicants vying for municipal office. Tonight, we anticipate lively discussions and debates as we carefully consider up to three candidates for the Board of Education and up to six candidates for Town Council endorsements. Each applicant has diligently campaigned and engaged with RTC members since their applications were submitted before the July 11th deadline.

Following the meeting, our RTC Secretary will promptly file the necessary paperwork with the Town Clerk by the July 23rd deadline. Subsequently, we will issue a press release announcing our endorsed candidates, officially launching our campaign for what promises to be a critical election for West Hartford.
