Click here 10 May 2022 Dear Resident and Family Members, COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families of Calvary St Catherine’sI am writing to clarify some confusion regarding our last communication to you. The outbreak was declared over by the Public Health Unit however one (1) positive resident remains in their isolation period and is being cared for in their room. We continue to keep their family informed. Now that the outbreak has been declared over, the previous limit of one visitor per resident no longer applies. Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care, there is now no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident over the whole day, however, there is a maximum of two (2) visitors allowed at a time. We ask that you continue to book your visit with us by calling (08) 8582 9600 or emailing admin.berri@calvarycare.org.au, and as was previously the case, visitors will be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT) before entering the home and wear appropriate PPE (including a medical face mask and shield). Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19. We apologize for any confusion caused, and we are very grateful to our residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time, and very much look forward to receiving more visitors back into the home. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.
