Tip of the month

Disposing of batteries incorrectly can cause fires in your bin, the waste collection truck and at waste facilities. Because of this, batteries should never be put in your household general waste or recycling bins. Instead, arrange a free collection through HomeCycle or drop them off at Woolworths, Aldi or the Community Recycling Centre.
