Important meeting update, exciting post-election news, a special guest speaker, and opportunities to get involved with the West Hartford RTC. ,JANUARY RTC MEETING A New Year Begins: Leadership Updates, Election Momentum & What’s Ahead for West Hartford Republicans Dear , Happy New Year to you and your families. As we turn the page on another year, I hope 2026 has begun on a positive and hopeful note for you. A new year brings renewed energy, fresh opportunities, and a chance to build on the momentum we worked so hard to create together in 2025. I want to share several important updates and extend a personal invitation to remain actively engaged with the West Hartford Republican Town Committee as we begin this exciting new chapter. 📰Important Meeting Update Due to the closure of West Hartford Town Hall today in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our regularly scheduled RTC meeting has been moved to tomorrow. The meeting will take place at The Butterfly Restaurant, 831 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and look forward to a strong turnout. Please see the meeting agenda at the bottom of this newsletter. 🎢Post-Election Momentum We are still energized by the results of the November elections, which brought new Republican voices to both the West Hartford Town Council and the Board of Education. These victories reflect the growing engagement and commitment of residents who want thoughtful, accountable leadership in our town. At tomorrow’s meeting, our newly elected Town Council members will be delivering their first report to the RTC. This will be an excellent opportunity to hear directly from them about priorities, early observations, and the path ahead. 📣Special Guest Speaker We are also pleased to welcome the former Mayor of Bristol, Connecticut, Jeff Caggiano who will be speaking on behalf of Erin Stewart, candidate for Governor of Connecticut. This is a valuable opportunity to learn more about her candidacy, her vision for Connecticut, and to ask questions directly. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this engaging and informative discussion. 👑New RTC Leadership Ahead Earlier this month, a West Hartford Republican Caucus voted in a new West Hartford Republican Town Committee. That newly elected RTC will be formally implemented at our March RTC meeting. In preparation, we will begin discussions about the formation of new subcommittees and the election of the RTC executive team, also scheduled for March. These conversations are critical as we continue to strengthen our organization and expand our reach in town. ☕Coffee with Your Elected Republicans Please also mark your calendars for an informal opportunity to connect with your local Republican leaders. Republican members of the West Hartford Town Council and Board of Education will be hosting a Coffee with Constituents on ☎️A Call to Get Involved The strength of the West Hartford Republican Town Committee comes from engaged citizens who are willing to show up, speak up, and help move our town forward. I strongly encourage you to attend our meeting tomorrow, bring a friend, and learn how you can play a role in shaping West Hartford’s future. Together, we can continue to build momentum, support our elected officials, and ensure that Republican principles have a strong and respected voice in our community. I look forward to seeing you soon. Warm regards, Shawn Daly |
